I have been training with Tina for around four years. I originally joined simply to help my young dog learn the basics, as it had been 18 years since I last had a puppy and I felt a bit out of practice.
From the start, Tina worked with a group of owners who all had different dogs and varying levels of experience. She quickly identified what each of us needed and gave clear, practical guidance on what to work on at home. If something didn’t quite work, Tina would always find another approach or suggest something different to try.
Tina has a real wealth of knowledge, which she is always happy to share, and her support has made a huge difference to our progress. We enjoyed the classes so much that we continued training, going on to work through the Good Citizen Awards. Starting with Bronze, we went on to achieve both Silver and Gold last year.
With Tina’s encouragement, we also found the confidence to take part in obedience shows—something we never imagined doing, especially with a Miniature Schnauzer! We wouldn’t have taken that step without her ongoing support and belief in us.
Tina’s love for dogs and her genuine desire to help both dog and owner get the best out of training makes every session enjoyable. She makes learning fun, takes the pressure out of it, and creates an environment where both dogs and owners can thrive.
